TSCRA
Special Rangers Investigate Equipment Thefts
TSCRA special rangers handle much more than
cattle rustling cases. The law enforcement division also investigates and
recovers stolen equipment, such as this theft case turned in by Special Ranger
Jimmy Dickson.
If you have information on these cases, or
other cases listed on
www.texascattleraisers.org,
please contact the TSCRA special ranger in your district, or contact Larry Gray,
director of law enforcement, 800-242-7820, ext. 112.
To see a complete listing of crime watch
cases, click on “Law Enforcement” on our Web site, then click on “Crime Watch”
in the menu on the left side of Law Enforcement’s page.
TSCRA offers trained livestock theft
investigators strategically stationed throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
Commissioned as special rangers by the Texas Department of Public Safety and/or
the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, TSCRA’s special rangers assist in
recovering stolen goods and apprehending the thieves.
Through the Operation Cow Thief program,
TSCRA provides cash rewards to citizens who provide information leading to the
arrest and/or Grand Jury indictment of individuals for theft of livestock or
related property.
