There's still time to show your support of the RFS waiver request
TSCRA member and Capitol Land & Livestock President Jim Schwertner began a campaign to show support for the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) waiver in May, asking cattle raisers to send letters in support of Gov. Rick Perry's request to the EPA for a waiver. The deadline for submitting comments is Monday, June 23, so Schwertner is again asking for your help to ask the EPA to consider the economic harm the RFS may cause the cattle industry. more

Membership gathering held
at Pitchfork Ranch
The historic Pitchfork Ranch in central West Texas was the site of a TSCRA membership gathering June 14 with more than 125 folks braving the heat to attend. The evening was full of fun and great food, kicking off with a cutting horse clinic by Kory Pounds that was fully enjoyed, and included a delicious steak dinner and informative speakers. more
