Researchers at The Sam Noble Foundation are studying ways to help farmers and ranchers save money on fertilizer. They say looking at alternatives is vital to what they claim is a critical period in agriculture. more

Good sanitation practices are the basis for all fly control programs and can account for as much as 75 percent toward the prevention of fly breeding. Sanitation should be the first line of defense against houseflies and other filth-breeding fly species. more

TDA Market Recap, 7-7-08
For the week ending July 5, feeder cattle prices at Texas auctions ranged from unchanged to $2 per hundredweight higher compared with a week ago in light holiday-week trade. Fed cattle prices were also higher as beef prices continued to increase. more
